Welcome to FPC Kids
FPC Kids provides multiple opportunities for ministry not only to our children, but the entire family. We strive to know Christ and make Christ known through fun, fellowship, and Biblical instruction in a loving environment. The Children's Ministry offers regular programming, mission opportunities, and special events throughout the year.
Sunday School
Sunday School is available for children in preschool (age 3) through 6th grade from 9:30-10:30am each Sunday. Children gather together for music and announcements at 9:30 during Assembly, then travel with their teachers to their individual classes. Sunday School includes music, lessons, crafts, and games. All teachers have been screened through background checks and have appropriate training.
Nursery
Our nursery is available for all children from birth to age 5 during Sunday morning worship, Wednesday night programming, special services, and events. All nursery staff have been screened through background checks and provide a warm, welcoming environment for our most precious members and visitors. We have paid nursery staff who will be the same caregivers each Sunday who will know you and your child personally.
Children In Worship
As Jesus said, "Let the children come to me," we believe that having children in worship is a wonderful thing and we want them to know they are welcome and at home in our service! Children learn liturgical behavior by copying their parents and other adult worshippers. The presence of children is a gift to the Church. We do understand that sometimes you may need to leave the service with your child. Please feel free to do so, but please come back! If needed, our nursery is always open for children from birth to age 5.
Wednesday Night
Wonderful Wednesday has church dinner at 5pm followed by programming at 6:00pm. FPC Kids classes are offered for children in preschool through 6th grade. Class time includes choir for all ages, Biblical lessons, fellowship, and games. For our parents, we have classes for you too!
FPC Tweens
Our Tweens group consists of 5th and 6th grades and meets separately on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. The goal of this group is to provide unique opportunities to prepare our students for transition into FPC Youth.
Special Events
FPC's Children's Ministry provides multiple special events throughout the year, including Vacation Bible School, Joy Gift Program/Musical, Happy Birthday Jesus Party, Easter Egg Hunt, and our Faith Milestones for grades Kindergarten through 6th grade. We also have seasonal family outings, lunches, and other family events.
