First Presbyterian Preschool

The purpose of the First Presbyterian Preschool is to develop each child's social, physical, emotional and mental skills, while building confidence, and affirming their unique place in the family of God. The curriculum is fun and engaging. It is consistent with programs used by many other preschools but with Biblical stories and values integrated into the lessons.
The preschool operates as a community service ministry of the church. It is not a full-time day care center. An age appropriate setting is provided for play and learning as an extension of the home. Classes are open to children two years old to those not yet in kindergarten.

The preschool is licensed by the Department of Human Services and operates in compliance with that department’s regulations. The program also follows guidelines for developmentally appropriate practices as set forth by the National Association of Young Children (NAEYC).
